I finally finished up the baby boy quilt last week.  I’m so happy with the way it came out!

The spotted fabric is from Momo’s Free Bird line for Moda.  All the solids are Bella Solids.

I used basic meandering quilting in a natural thread.

If you haven’t noticed, I’ve been getting a kick out of free motion quilting lately.

Here’s a peak at the backing.  I pieced it will the leftover strips from the front.  I loved doing it, because it reflects that “make it do” attitude that is a part of quilting, especially in days past.

This quilt was meant as a gift from the buyer, so I asked if there was any special message she’d like on the label.  She replied with the quote…I absolutely love it.

I hope the little guy who gets it loves this as much as I did making it.  Hopefully, I’ll get a picture someday. :)
