WIP Wednesday – Square Off
I’m slow going this week with my Square Off Quilt. I’ve planned my color placement so carefully that I’m working very carefully, so I don’t accidentally switch them up. (Which I do so easily in almost every quilt, if I’m not careful!)

I’ve gotten another row finished, and despite the slow sewing, I’m so glad I chose to do the color planned blocks instead of straight scrappy (which I may do this one scrappy in other fabric…it’s so cute!).

I think the next time I make this I’ll take the time to square my HST’s before making the blocks. I’ve been trying to square up the blocks, but I’m losing some points. Sew and learn!
Thanks for stopping by!

I really like this one.
The charcoal sets the colors off so nicely.
I love this quilt. I am definitely adding it to my list of quilts to do. Thanks for sharing.
I really like this quilt. Is that Hunky Dory? That was a great line. And I have to say I love the gray. I use it in place of white/snow on so many things. It make bright colors pop more and softer colors look even softer. Great choice.
The black is perfect.
Your project is turning out great! Love how you’ve organized the colors.
It looks great! I love the colors and can’t wait to see it finished. Thanks for tring it out.
