Hi there! It's time for my first weekly update for Summer Lee Quilts! This week has been a whirlwind of activity, new releases, and a dash of adventure. So, grab a cup of tea and let's dive into the highlights of my eventful week.
Guess what? I've completed the Cheer T-Shirt Quilt top, and I couldn't be more thrilled! It was a blast appliqueing those three cheer uniforms onto panels (you can see videos on my Instagram) and cutting up the adorable cheer t-shirts.
To make it even better, I added a gorgeous sashing in the most beautiful shade of blue. This quilt top is so special. Stay tuned as I move closer to the final stages of this fun project!
Drumroll, please! I'm beyond excited to reveal my latest quilt pattern, Lost in the Shuffle! It features a mesmerizing design that'll have you going "wow" in no time. To give you a sneak peek, I've shared several pictures of the quilt top in all its glory.
Lost in the Shuffle Quilt Pattern officially releases May 26th!
Amidst all the quilting madness, I managed to squeeze in some "me time". Right now, I'm lost in the magical world of "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe." Can you believe it? Narnia has become my go-to escape, after so many years, fueling my imagination and inspiring my quilting journey. If you're a bookworm like me, you'll totally get why I'm loving this classic tale.
Life is a beautiful mess, my friends, and this week was no exception. While I poured my heart into quilting, I also had to handle a sick kiddo. #3 had another stomach bug for a few days. I'd love a month (or more!) with no sick kids! This parenting gig is not for the faint of heart. Not to mention my busy toddler, who's keeping me on my toes. She's into everything, bless her little self!
Well, that's a wrap for my jam-packed week at Summer Lee Quilts! I couldn't wait to share all the exciting stuff I've been up to, from completing the Cheer T-Shirt Quilt top to unveiling the eye-popping Lost in the Shuffle quilt pattern. Oh, and don't forget to join me on my literary journey through "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe." Life's too short not to embrace the chaos with a big smile and a pinch of humor.
